BOAZ =
Bonnieville Opportunity & Advancement Zone
The first BOAZ meeting was held on Thursday March 4th, 2010 at the elementary school.
We were introduced to the team from 'New Cities'.
It was a chance for each and every Bonnieville citizen to voice their opinions, meet their neighbors, and share their family's vision of what they desire for our community's future.
There were many things discussed and lots of ideas from everyone. We discussed our strengths and weaknesses and what opportunities may be available for us to move forward without losing our 'small town' feel.
Introductions of Tad Long and Bobbie Bryant of New Cities, Jane Higgins of the Brushy Fork Institute, Berea College, and Angie Woodward , Workforce development liaison from the Community & Economic Development Center, E-Town Ky.
Proposed dates for upcoming Community meetings :
March 25, 2010
April 15, 2010
May 6, 2010
May 20, 2010
