Hello Friends!  Kentucky Waterways Alliance (KWA) and the Bacon Creek Watershed Council wish to THANK everyone who came out on Sat July 28^th for CLEAN UP BACON CREEK DAY!  Volunteers came out to clean up around Bonnieville’s Creek area. We made new friends, had great discussions and enjoyed fresh watermelon under the gingko tree! Volunteers: Ted Diamond, Margo Diamond, Elaine Digges, Tessa Edelen, David Givens, Nancy Givens, Bonita Hendren, Wanda Gregory, John Perry, Judy Peterson, Dale Reynolds, Linda Watts, Cindy White & Suellyn White.

WELCOME To the neighborhood! Postmaster Cheri Ross retired last month after 19 years of dedicated service to USPS and Bonnieville citizens. We’ll miss you Cheri! On July 31^st Patrick Gray officially became Bonnieville’s newest USPS Postmaster. Congratulations to Patrick Gray! Stop in and welcome Patrick to Bonnieville.

Hello Friends! KWA & Bacon Creek Watershed Council is hosting: CLEAN UP BACON CREEK DAY SAT July 28 from 9-12 CST. Meet at the Bonnieville Bridge over Bacon Creek. Help keep our water clean! The Watershed Council meets the 4^th Monday of every month. 
Everyone is invited.

Bonnieville Community Friends (formerly Merchant’s Association) invites you to a Membership Drive & Reception Thurs Aug 9^th at BVFD 6pm CST. Community Friends goal is to get a Bonnieville Community Center. If you are interested and wish to share ideas on a Community Center please attend. We need as many citizens as possible in order make this happen, and we can only make it happen if you participate! Community Friends meet regularly at BVFD the 2^nd Thursday of every month at 6 CST. See You There!

MEMBERSHIP DRIVES NOW UNDERWAY: Bacon Creek Watershed Council, Bacon Creek Historical Society, Community Friends, Homemakers, Hart Co Historical Society and Hart Co Chamber invite you to become a member today! As always, BOAZ Foundation invites everyone to take part in our numerous local projects. Everyone is welcome to participate, there’s always something going on.

June 25 Bacon Creek Watershed Council meeting will be held at Three Forks Bacon Creek Baptist Church, keynote speaker is Kate Peake from the Kentucky Onsite Wastewater Association. Just a reminder; Bonnieville Homecoming begins Sun. July 1^st with an old time gospel singing under the gingko tree, Stars & Stripes Beauty Pageant is July 3^rd and the parade is July 4^th! CLEAN UP BACON CREEK DAY is Saturday, July 28 in Bonnieville. Everyone is invited!

Hello Friends! The long awaited outdoor MURAL is now under construction at Bonnieville’s ACME Lodge! Stop by and watch Glenda KRAUSS & Dale KRAUSS as they create a beautiful historic mural. Thank you to all who attended our hands on Mural Workshop May 17^th. Lilly Clauson, Herb Key, Chaz Condiff, Todd Giles, Wendy Giles, Calib Cottrell, Suellyn White, Shirley Dye, Linda Watts, Sherman Bowman, Kim Cook, Cindy White & Bonita Hendren enjoyed hearing Glenda & Dale speak about their creative process. Several participants were invited & encouraged to paint areas of the mural. See photos and follow the mural progress on the Bonnieville KY Facebook page.
